  South Africa, 2004. Cape Town
For the majority of our trip we stayed in and around Cape Town, staying at the Vineyard, literally across the road from the Newlands cricket ground. We visited Kirstenbosch National Botanical Gardens, the Spier vineyard, and spent a couple nights in Stellenbosch and at Boulders Beach (to see the penguins) .

  South Africa 2004, Part 2
After Cape Town, we flew over to Durban to visit Christine and Peter, Jane's aunt and uncle, who live about 100km south of Durban. We stayed with them for a few days, and they took us all around the local sights, including a visit to the Oribi Gorge, one of South Africa's largest.
